Due to Braeside being a working farm, we’re unable to accommodate pets on the property. This policy ensures the safety of both your pets and our animals. If you see dogs in our social media videos, they’re our working farm Kelpies, who are part of the Braeside team and family.

Braeside offers something unique every season! Winter is our most popular time, as guests love to enjoy the frosted grounds and gardens under the winter sun. Autumn brings breathtaking displays of red, orange, and yellow foliage, while spring and summer burst with vibrant garden blooms. Don’t miss our iconic spring display of our beautiful wisteria—it’s a truly special sight.
Yes, Braeside is the perfect base for exploring the Granite Belt and Southern Downs’ natural wonders. Within an hour’s drive, you can reach incredible spots like Main Range National Park, Queen Mary Falls, and Girraween National Park. That said, we believe you may not even need to leave the property, as there is so much to see and enjoy right on the grounds of Braeside itself. Many guests tell us they wish they had stayed longer to fully take it all in.
Embark on wine tours, discover nearby national parks, or partake in the myriad of activities available in the Stanthorpe and Warwick district. However, with so much to see and do on the grounds, Braeside offers more than enough on its own to keep you entertained throughout your stay!
While we don’t offer formal farm experiences, guests are warmly invited to explore the grounds and observe our animals from a respectful distance. Along your walk, you’ll come across chickens (and can even collect fresh eggs for breakfast!), as well as cows and horses. If you’re lucky, you might spot baby calves during certain seasons. For everyone’s safety, we kindly ask that guests refrain from touching the animals.
